Millie's Swedish Candy Co. ("Millie's," "we," "us") runs this website. This policy explains what information we collect when you use it, how we use that information, and the choices you have.

what we collect

We only collect what you choose to send us through our forms:

  • Pickup orders: your name, phone number, email address, preferred pickup date and time, and the bags you'd like.
  • Event inquiries: your name, phone number, email address, event date, estimated guest count, venue, and the details you share about your event.

We don't ask for payment details on this website. We don't use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers, and we don't follow you across other websites, so we don't change anything in response to a browser's “Do Not Track” setting.

how we use it

  • To prepare your pickup order and confirm it with you.
  • To reply to your event inquiry with pricing and details.
  • To contact you about your order or event, including if something changes.

We don't use your information for anything else, and we don't add you to a mailing list unless you ask us to.

who we share it with

We never sell or rent your personal information. We share it only:

  • With the service that delivers our form submissions to us, and with our email provider (Google), which hold it only to provide those services to us.
  • When the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our customers and our business.

other services on this site

  • Fonts: our lettering is loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google when a page loads.
  • Links: "get directions" opens Google Maps, and our Instagram links open Instagram. Those sites have their own privacy policies.
  • Hosting: this website is hosted by GitHub. Like most web hosts, GitHub may briefly record technical details such as your IP address to keep the site running and secure.
  • Map: the shop map is drawn from OpenStreetMap data and is part of our own website, so viewing it doesn't send anything to a map provider.

how long we keep it

We keep order and inquiry details only as long as we need them to fill your order, plan your event, and keep ordinary business records. After that, we delete them.

keeping it safe

We take reasonable steps to protect the information you send us. No website or email system is perfectly secure, so please don't send sensitive information (such as payment card numbers) through our forms.

your choices

You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the information you've sent us. Just reach out using the contact details below and we'll take care of it.

children

This website is meant for adults placing orders and planning events. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you think a child has sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll post the new version on this page and update the date at the top.
